Приєднався 15 лип 2011
Fat Lad on a Bike is brought to you to show you the continuing adventures of myself, Steve Clark with various friends and fellow
bikers as we embark on days out, weeks away and soon recording Tours of Europe.
This is the perfect way to combine my love of Motorcycling, Photography and to further my knowledge of video work.
I have a BMW R1200RT which I call the Flying Armchair. As the name suggests, is luxurious to ride.
For filming whilst riding, I use the Drift Ghost S Helmet Camera. For doing handheld off the bike I use a Panasonic X900. If taking stills, I use a Canon 5D MK111 with various lenses.
I would ask that you please subscribe, as I believe the videos will improve as I continue to further advance my editing skills.
A mention here, the editing is done using Sony Vegas 14 Software.
If you have any questions regarding my channel, please ask, I will do my best to answer them.
Thank You for taking the time to view, hope to see you again.

Hi mate September should be fine we just hit a freak period where it was far to hot for biking. Your gonna have a great tour my friend. ENJOY !!!
Look forward to this year's travel blogs, ride safe...
Thanks Mike 👍
Roche Abbey is worth a stop and a wander around for 20 min (it’s free)
Thanks for that info fella will do that next time we go. 👍🏍
Hi Steve, Having just passed my test this year at age 63 and cut my teeth on an F800GT I have been looking to upgrade and the R1200RT is top of my list. Having trawled the internet for reviews this is by far the best out there, a good honest opinion, all the right info without the usual faf that others try to "impress" with. Just what I needed and what I would expect from a fellow Northerner! Cheers
Thanks for leaving such a positive comment Paul and pleased it's helped in some way. Hope you have many happy miles with whichever you decide on 🏍 Ride safe my friend
My neck of the Woods, and you never get sick of riding the backroads always better in the sun though,I'm glad you enjoyed mid Wales,I'm a stokie came on holiday here 18 years ago and never went back, absolutely love the place 👍🏍️

Good vid mate always enjoy watching them, we live just down the road from your brothers ponds (Northmoor) but fishing is one thing that's never appealed to me alway got bored sitting on the riverbank.
Cheers for the comment and thanks for watching fella I was same thinking fishing was boring but as I'm getting on a bit now find it so relaxing 👍🎣 maybe it's an old man's sport 🤣
So when does the new channel, Steve Clarke fat lad gone fishing, start? 😉 I'd subscribe. 👍

Ah, okay. Cheers.
how do from yorkshire steve, don't wait for that big round yellow thing in the sky to appear, january in the yorkshire dales is also good, so, you need, 3 pairs of socks, 4 jumpers, 2 padded jackets, a larger suit, 3 sets of joggy bottoms, an oversize pair of kegs to go over them, 2 neck warmers n heated grips, 🙂🙂then, at +2deg c you need to find a cafe within 1.5hrs from your living room to warm up 😀😀( me, penny garth cafe at hawes ) TRUST ME, it'll be empty of any bikers, pick any table 😀😀 think of all that snow your missing out on...........🙄🙄LOL.
😂 think I may give that a miss fella as not got enough clothes lol
Nice to see you back Steve, Revs is our regular meeting place before a run out as we all live in the village. In fact eight of us met there for breakfast last Monday before setting off on our trip to Scotland.

Glad to see your channel is back Steve. If I lived a bit nearer you boys I would be joining you on some of your rides. 😊👍🏍
Cheers John pleased you enjoyed it, another one got released on saturday my friend, ride safe
Welcome back to your summer riding . Big news from me Steve is I’ve had to let the Beemer go , after my knee operation I was worried that my knee might just go on me and the bike would fall on top of me and as you know274 klg is no light weight to be getting out from underneath . But at 78 yrs young I wasn’t ready to give up riding and I’ve bought a Can Am Spyder so I still have the wind in my hair and the smell of the countryside . I know I can’t go around the corners like I used to do where I doubled the speed limit and added ten ,yet I’m not loosing sight of my Ulluses friends when we are riding . Still looking at heading to your shores ,starting early August I’ll contact you when I’m in Hagwothinton . Take care ,ride safe Mal in Australia
Hi Mal probably a hard decision to change bikes but the right one my friend, think its great that your still riding at 78 yrs young good on you. Hope you make it over to us but for now ride safe fella.

A good little cafe Revs and Relics. My son and I had a ride out there a few weeks ago now, the video is on my channel. It's pretty local to us living in Barnsley. Of course the weather had to spoil itself a bit on the way back but still a decent run out. Great video!
Cheers Paul will check out your video fella, thanks for watching my friend 👍
@@Steve-Clark Cheers. My editing leaves a little to be desired, but I'm getting there. And I'll apologise in advance for my sons language! I need to learn to "beep" those little incidents out 🙂

Always a pleasure …’Mr Muzz’ makes us smile…❤😂 tell him to ‘man up’ and get that liner out…🤷♂️ We bumped into you last year at WW … perhaps might do again at Relics , … good food at good Yorkshire prices … There’s some cracking roads around that area you can loop round up to Conisborough and back through Wadworth , Tickhill Old Coates etc Hope to see you out again

I do like a nice ride out for breakfast. As a retired gentleman of leisure, I have the luxury of riding in the week, whenever the weather looks good. That looked like a cracking good ride and breakfast. There's nothing better on a sunny day.
Your so right Neil we to are both retired which like you say makes life easier to be able to pick week days to ride as well. Ride safe my friend.
Snap! I love it too.
Yes the Gainsborough travel lodge is full of immigrants at this moment ☠️.
